Nancy O'Dell's broadcast career began as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She then worked as an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases. Ms. O'Dell received recognition from the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award all media South Carolina. O'Dell was then employed by NBC's Miami-based station WTVJ-TV as a investigative reporter, before she joined Access Hollywood in the role of co-anchor for the weekend. Her current position as host for Access Hollywood is complemented by her contributions to NBC News Today, Dateline NBC as well as NBC News. She's covered the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show to The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
